As a driving instructor I've had a few hairy moments recently and thought I should buy a pregnancy bump seatbelt.

Has anyone used one and if so, where is the best place to buy one?

one for my mums car - she transported me a lot, the other in my car for driving. Unfortunately have just given away to pg colleague...

I borrowed one from a friend but tbh have stopped using it because I didn't felt like it did much.

I bought one after watching a promo film using crash test dummies with and without. It looked like it did do something in the unwelcome event of a crash. I find it comfy because it pulls the bottom part of the seat belt down lower down below the bump.

Thanks everyone. I've just bought one from Blooming Marvellous using the 10% promo code from mumsnet.

I think they work- I bought one after having an accident at 12 weeks. We hit the car in front of us at about 80 miles an hour, and whilst we weren't seriously injured (bruises and seatbelt burns- very, very lucky), I had deep tissue bruising across my abdomen pretty much where DS was positioned at the time. I'm sure the bruising would have been further down, across the top of my thighs.

i have one and am very glad after having an accident when pregnant with DS at 20 weeks when a car hit me from behind at 60miles an hour (i was stopped at traffic lights). i only had bruising on my ribs and thighs and my bump was fine. well worth the £20
