I also had a very strong feeling I was having a boy and I did.

zaphod · 13/07/2008 21:14

When I first got pregnant I was sure baby was a girl, BUT the first time he moved, I thought,OMG, it's a boy, and he was. I was wrong all the other times though.

MrsTittleMouse · 13/07/2008 21:14

I've been wrong both times.

No idea last time, no idea this time - it's all going to be one big surprise!!

Litterbug · 13/07/2008 21:18

I'm crap at this.

Had no idea what DC1 was, nothing at all, was a boy.

Wasv CERTAIN DC2 was a girl, ... was a boy.

Think this one is a boy .... find out next sat, so we shall see!

Also, is there any truth in bumps being "carried" differently?

EVERYONE I know thought DD was going to be a boy, but I also just 'knew; from very early on that she wouldn't be!

Yep, I knew it was a boy.

I suggested his name to dh when i was 10 weeks and finished knitting a blue and green and white blanket before the 20 week scan.

I asked about the sex at the scan as I woulkd have been just as happy with a girl, but then i needed to make the switch.

As it was at the scan he grabbed his ankles in his hands and gave us a full view

nancy75 · 13/07/2008 21:40

i knew dd was a girl from really early on, we found out the sex at the scan, before going in i remember saying to dp if its a boy i wont believe them and will want somebody else to have a look! dd, obviously, is a girl

zonedout · 13/07/2008 21:41

chequers, i was 100% certain that i was carrying a girl in my first preg. every possible old wives tale (cravings/the way i was carrying/heart rate of baby) pointed to the baby being a girl. all of the midwives and even my acupuncturist were sure it was a girl. like you i related to it and pictured it as a girl the whole way through. there was not a doubt in my mind. lo and behold, out popped what was quite unmistakably a boy it took me about an hour of being in complete shock to get my head around and then i fell head over heels in love with him. 2 years 5 months later i am even more besotted with my little boy (who, for the record, is as boyish as they come)

i am currently 24 weeks pregnant with my second and completely convinced i am having another boy...

PinkTulips · 13/07/2008 21:41

i knew with both of mine to the point where i was calling the bump by name and had bought boy/girl specific clothes

was right both times so am sure to be horribly wrong with dc3

my dad will tell me though and he's always right so if what he thinks is differant to what i think i'll go with his guess!

DD1 about 99% certain she was a girl
DD2 about 95% certain

DB3 I really thought boy but another girl

I just do girls

meep · 13/07/2008 21:51

I knew it was a boy - so much so that when the doc lifted her up and said it was a girl I told him he was wrong !

BigBadMousey · 13/07/2008 21:51

I 'knew' within the first few weeks with all mine - was right 4/4 times!
