Friend had Ectopic Pregnancy

Can I get some advice, a g/f just phoned me to say another couple of friends who were meant to be coming out with us on Friday won't be. As other g/f had ectopic preg over Christmas and didnt want to come out as was emotional and knew I would be there (having had new babe).

This other g/f is a friend of mine too, I havent spoken to her since before Christmas. But would like to see her, I have noone to leave babe with, it is acceptable that I turn up with babe and have a coffee with her? She is such a lovely girl, already has 2 children. I would love to offer her support.

Gosh2, can you ring the friend and ask if it's alright for you and babe to pop round. At least then she'll know that you're thinking of her, and will have the choice to say no if she doesn't think she can cope with you going round.

My sil had an ectopic pregnancy (her second) when I was pregnant with my ds. I was devastated and felt really awful, I didn't know how I would be able to face her.

In the end, I spoke to her on the phone to see how she was and when she felt up to it, I went round to see her. I waited until she wanted to mention the pregnancy, as she isn't the type to talk about her feelings.

I'd definitely give her a ring. At least she will know you are thinking ot her.
