On antibiotics - can I also take painkillers?

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and currently taking amoxycillin as I have a bug in my bladder/urine.
Can I take paracetamol at the same time does anyone know? I have horrid backache, just level with the kidneys so we think it's being caused by the infection.

yes you can.

and its very likely to be cause by the infection. take it easy, had repeated UTi with dd2 and it was horrible.

thanks misdee. This pregnancy is turning out to be yucky (yes, insomnia as well). First pregnancy was a dream so i guess that makes it even harder to bear/
