I'm 10 weeks pregnant (first) and am dozy, vague and can't be bothered to concentrate on anything. And I feel a bit rubbish and tired most of the time. All this would be ok if I didn't have to work but I think I will get fired if I'm like this for the next 7 months! Please tell me it gets a bit better... please?

It does get better - when your youngest child is about 5.

No, seriously, second trimester is better, ime.

Thanks NQC. To be honest, I thought the 'when it's 5' answer might be the accurate one, so that's reassuring.

Dozier and more vague as the weeks go by!

chocbiscuits · 09/07/2008 14:15

Huh?

Who?

I just went shopping and left my shopping in the shop for about the fourth time since I got pregnant (I'm 15 weeks).

And it took me about three days to remember what an itemised phone bill is called.

chunkypudding · 10/07/2008 15:00

nope.

ds nearly 6 months, believe me you are dozier and vaguer than you could possibly imagine once the little buggers are born!!!

never mind types of phone bill tis a miracle if i can remember my name!

my advice - sleep all you can now. seriously, make the most of it.

sleep is grrrreat. you'll miss it!

IMHO - Bit better in 2nd trimester... then rapidly downhill again towards the end of the 3rd. Don't know how i haven't been sacked yet.

I've found it's even more important than ever to write 'to do' lists at work - if its not on there then there's no hope of me ever getting roudn to it.
