support briefs?

i must confess to liking the biggest pants ever when pregnant. if i could pull them up to my chin i probably would. tmi.

can someone tell me what support briefs are? are they tight and uncomfortable like a girdle?

I had a Anita Support Belt which was comfy, my physio recommended it to help with my backache....

I had some big pants too, but I liked them for the comfort rather than the support - which compared to the belt was minimal.
