muddled about bedding

Ok, I feel like a right thicko! Not quite sure exactly what bedding I need - plan for baby to sleep in cot at night so have everything for that (I think) - fitted sheets, grobags, topsheets and cellular blanket in case too small for grobags initially.

But what do we need for pram/carrycot? All the same again in the relevant sizes? When baby is just out and about in the pram would he be tucked under sheets and blanket?

Can't believe I don't just know this stuff...!

For the pram you could get a sheepskin liner and depending on the weather, a pramsuit for the baby (you can get lightweight ones for spring/summer)

we used a sheepskin liner and a cosy toes (woolly sleeping bag basically) but blankets are just fine.

Ah... and what if he sleeps in the pram carrycot in the daytime indoors? Does he need full set of bedding in that case?

I slept my DS in his pram all the time, just had a bottom sheet for the mattress and a couple of pram/ moses basket size blankets. Uaed thses inm teh moses basket at night too.

In a grobag byt the time he moved into his cot so do not own any cot blabkets and top sheets as really don't need them

I would say blankets are fine for indoors while sleeping.

Oh, thank you all! Still feel thick, but more informed!
