3/5 engaged, whats this mean?

hi, im 36 wks pg and just got bk frm MW i read my notes and under the bit that asks if babys engaged it says 3/5 what does this mean? anyone know? is it good or bad?

it mean teh baby has dropped into you pelvis.
its divided into 5 so baby has dropped 3 parts

parts prob equals millimetres or something so don't get to excitied

Well, you could stay at 3/5 up until labour.

The baby coudl even slip back out and he/she will be less engaged IYSWIM.

Or you could go to the MW in a few days and be fully engaged and stay like that until the baby arrives.

Unfortunatly there isn't any hard and fast rules.....but IME the worst fo all is that it means nothing as to when the baby will come.

Fingers crossed you won't have too long to wait to meet you new baby
