freecycle for a loan?

Try your hospital - mine has monthly Tens demos and then rents them for £20 (get £10 back when you return it). The benefits are that the midwives and physios all know them so can help you. You can reserve them adn collect them 2 weeks beforehand. If not, then do a search locally - there is bound to be a company that rents them out (and will probably loans you them 3 or 4 weeks beforehand).

I rented mine from Boots each time. Can't remember now how much it was but I reserved it, collected it a few weeks before the due date and returned it and got deposit back a week or two after I had the baby.

I hired mine from boots also but want that impressed with mine as the sticky pads kept falling off and i couldnt use it in the end. Im sure i just got an old one though, it wont stop me from getting another one though!
