Was wondering if nayone else had had this before.

I noticed a small swelling yesterday (marble sized) in the area between my bottom and my vagina (perinium?) is is very close to where I had quite a few stithces with DS.

It is not sore to touch and is not red or inflamed - I called the docs and they asked me to come down to see them in the emergency surgery this morning. I was checked out and was told it was a cyst and that nothing could be done before delivery of my baby and to mention it to my midwife when I next see her.

I am 25 weeks and the doc told me that they could remove it when I deliver my baby (!) is there anything i can do in the meantime or do these things tend to go away on their own?
The thought of it being there for anthoer 15 weeks is makng me feel all yucky !

Thanks

I would suggest getting some moist loo paper - you want to make sure it's all super-clean down there. If it starts to itch/feel sore maybe some pile lotion, they seem to have a soothing/numbing ingredient
