I've had a nuchal scan, all fine, but the receptionist at the hospital asked me where I was going to deliver & when I said "I want it at home if everything goes well, but you're the first person to ask me" she said "I'll put down King's & you can discuss it with the midwife when you see her." I'm now a bit worried that there might be some difficulties in getting a home birth (scan fine) - how early do I need to book it in? Is it usual to have to wait this long for first midwife appt? I would phone up, you should have had your booking in appointment by now.

There shouldn't be any problem booking in in for a home birth, some women don't make that decision until much later in their pregnancy.
