What does this really mean??

Just got back from midwife app where she told me baby not engaged yet. On my notes she has wrote 4/5ths. Im nearly 37 weeks now and I expressed some concern to her, but she said not to worry as I have loads of time left! Im worried now.

It means she can feel 4 fifths of the babys head.
Don't worry, babies can drop down quickly and some go into labour when they are still high and they soon drop.

Try going on all fours (00eerr) with your bump hanging under you - it encourages movement - or sitting wide legged on a big ball.

Won't be long now.

DS never engaged more than 3/5 and that was her being optimistic to cheer me up. I still went into spontaneous labour at 39 weeks and he came out just fine.

Wouldnt worry too much
