I'm cooking Beef and Red Wine stew on Friday night. I'm 5 weeks pregnant and I'm a tad concerned about the alcohol. It's going to cook for 3 hours - all the alcohol will have burned off by then shouldn't it??

I think the cooking will burn off the alcohol as alcohol has quite a low boiling point compared to water.

Oh god, yeah....can't remember what temp it evaporates out at, but it's well below water's boiling point.
Don't give it a 2nd thought.
