Just a quickie this time.
I'm taking 2 iron tablets a day and have just started taking one rasberry leaf tablet too.
That is o.k isn't it??

I thought rasberry leaf tea was to bring on labour. No idea about the tablets.

Has your MW or doctor advised to take so much iron?

raspberry leaf tea is a uterine tonic and .... tones up your uterus

It is recommended that you take it in the last three weeks

Make sure your iron tablets don't give you constipation, that's the last thing you want

Rasberry leaf doesn't nessasseraliy bring on labour, it's supposed to make it quicker and easier.
My first birth was quick, wether or not it had anything to do with it i don't know.
I've been on the iron tablets for a few weeks. (They actually told me 3 but am only taking 2)

What i meant was, it is o.k to take them both together isn't it???

NICE no longer recommends pregnant women to take iron unless you have a clinical anaemia (haemoglobin of less than 10.0).
