hello, im not sure if this is the right place to post but my heads all of a muddle.
i stopped taking microgynon about 6-8weeks ago, before i get told for being silly for not using contraception our sex life is virtually non-existant, i posted on mumsnet week or so back that my partner struggles to ejaculate because of tight foreskin, so this coupled with non-existant sex life made me think we'd be ok till i get my bum in to gear to get mini-pill (appointment is tomorrow)
anyway im not sure how long ago it was since last period 4 weeks maybe, but over past 5-6 days i have been getting period pain type cramps, which is what i had just before i found out i was pregnant last time, the only difference being i had very sore boobs as well last time but not now.
is it possible in this short space of time, considering partners inability to ejaculate, even though we have had sex, make me pregnant?

It's always possible to get pregnant if you're having sex.

orangehead · 01/07/2008 20:43

Anything possible if you having sex, even a tiny bit can do the job

wickedwitchofwestburymount · 01/07/2008 20:43

Why dont you get a test luvy??

WigWamBam · 01/07/2008 20:44

He doesn't need to ejaculate to release sperm.

So yes, you could be pregnant. Equally, it could simply be period pain and your period could be on the way.

You know the only answer is to test, don't you.

littleboyblue · 01/07/2008 20:46

Do a test. I came off the pill and feel pregnant within 2 weeks, miscarried and fell pregnant 2 days after bleed stopped. I know that as it was the only time we had sex for a while as dp was working nights. Anything is possible.

littleboyblue · 01/07/2008 20:46

fell even

embarrassingsituation · 01/07/2008 20:46

i was thinking of getting one today but im just burying my head in the sand.
im s*ting myself to be honest because money's tight, things aren't going well with partner and my partner, i think would want me to have a termination. And although a baby is not what i want right now, a termination to me is not something i'd think about. SHIT!

wigwam-i never get period pain before my period it just happens which is why i get caught short at work without any lady bits and have to run out!

Don't panic until you have to. Not worth worrying about until you know. Do a test and then jump off the bridge (so to speak).
If you are stressed and worried it would delay period anyway.

embarrassingsituation · 01/07/2008 20:55

if it wasn't for the fact i live in a village and the only way i could get to a tesco was through dp id go now and get one!
i don't want to tell him and scare the life out of him for no reason!

I understand, but as your partner, isn't it his job to support you in anything you go through and anything you are worried about?
Maybe this is the time to sit down and try to solve those problems you say you are having.
Get a test tomorrow.

embarrassingsituation · 01/07/2008 21:13

would a test be accurate at this point bearing in mind im not sure if it is 3 or 4 weeks since last period?

OP posts:
wickedwitchofwestburymount · 01/07/2008 21:16

Test are getting better and better and some of them now say you can take the test about 6 days before you period is due, so I think its worth taking one. Good luck luvy xx

embarrassingsituation · 01/07/2008 21:18

just been chatting to a friend on msn and she's just suggested ovarian cysts??!!

OP posts:
wickedwitchofwestburymount · 01/07/2008 21:38

Do you have any other symptoms for ovarian cysts?? Not saying it isnt luvy but I have PCOS so know that some of the symptoms are irregular periods, heavy bleeding and alot of pain. If I were you I would do the pregnancy test first and take it from there. I did my first pregnancy test in the loo at work, because I didnt think for a minute that I would be pregnant.

embarrassingsituation · 01/07/2008 21:41

no i don't its my friend being daft! she's been reading up on it apparently, not sure why, she's a bit paranoid!
i was like that when i was pregnant with dd, i did a test at the local FPC as my friend joked i was pregnant when i said i was two days late-she wasn't laughing when i did it and it came back postitive!
