13DPO, pregnant but lighter FRER

I am 13DPO, got a confirmed BFP on a digital at 10dpo. Lines have been getting darker, even my easy at home last night was darker. However today my FRER is lighter than yesterday’s. Should I be worried? :(

It could just be that your wee was more diluted, really hard to know at these early stages! I get the worry though. Just gotta tell yourself a line is a line for now.

Absolutely. I have also read some women’s HCG levels are higher in the afternoon. I did take the 12DPO at 1pm yesterday after a 2 hour hold so I’ll try again tomorrow xx

That’s interesting actually, I always get a better line at night! I thought it was just because I don’t get a minute to go to the loo during the day 😅 fingers crossed for you.

I don't know but maybe something is off with FRERs these days? My line 14 dpo and 16 dpo looked exactly the same on a frer but it darkened drastically on easy @ home cheap strips...

@Bumblebeemee hahaha! 🤣 it’s something to do with how your kidney filters HCG when you sleep so it apparently dilutes your urine more so 🤷‍♀️ bodies are such a mystery! Thank you. I have some more coming tomorrow so I’m going to do a 4 hour hold in the afternoon and really pray it’s all good!

@kateeea I have read they are hit and miss when it comes to progression lines which is so annoying! My easy at home test was also lighter this morning but that was SMU on a 2 hour hold, so I don’t think I done myself any favours there! Xx

Oh glad it worked out! I got some frers and the first one I’ve taken is much lighter than my easy @ home strip from 2 days earlier! I think they’re just not the most sensitive of tests anymore. I also did a CB digital and got 1-2 weeks but the frer is almost invisible.

Something must be going on with frers, I literally posted the same here last night!
My frer is sooo light and no progress in 2 days, while my easy at home had a nice progress and is soo dark now!

that is strange!! My test today was fine but the one yesterday did panic me. So annoying as they are super reliable tests normally. Good luck to you both 🫶🏻xx
