Hello!
I had a gallbladder infection which spread into my pelvis last year, anyway earlier this year I had it removed.
Then I would say April/may time I had some pain lower left side near ovary area. I had a scan and my fallopian tube was swollen and blocked with an infection sitting there, they think where I had the infection last year from gallbladder which spread - it got into my fallopian tube and got stuck there! I got put onto strong antibiotics for 2 weeks and it cleared from the next scan but he said it is a damaged tube now. He said if I was to fall pregnant I would need a scan to check if ectopic- as at a higher chance now.
Has anyone on here got a damaged tube and did you find it harder to get pregnant at all? I hope it’s not the case!
