FGR due to wrong dates

Hi,
I’m 20 weeks pregnant with my second but at the 12 week scan, they brought forward my due date by 4 days as they struggle to measure and made baby bigger than they are. With my ovulation this makes my due date 6 days closer than it should be.

At the 20 week scan they measured baby being in the 2.5 percentile (all within normal sizes with no issues), just very small so now I am under consultant care with growth scans. They won’t push my due date back again despite me saying my dates are out by 6 days.

Has anyone else experienced this? Feel like it’s adding more stress for (hopefully) no reason x

Morning, OP! Just bumping this post for you. Hope you manage to get something sorted with your midwifery team.

My date was changed with mine because of ovulating early but never had any issues with them being too small. If you have your chart you can look at where they should be but, from memory, that's still a tiny baby so I wouldn't be surprised if you'd still need the scans. I had them for big babies and they're fine.

Some people have bigger babies than others, it can be absolutely nothing to worry about but it's never worth risking it when a bit of extra monitoring can make a big difference.
