What will happen if i have gestational diabetes?

Am going for glucose tolerance test this week as have been measuring big for dates. I am just wondering what happens if you are diagnosed with GD.

I was with my second child, and they just gave me a home monitoring kit that I had to use I think a few times a day. I wouldnt worry luvy. It is only early days for me but my midwife had said that I have to have a GTT at 26 weeks this time to check. Good luck xx
