11 weeks and feeling super weak

Just wondering if anyone else feels like this?

I’ve also had a cold and my ears have played up as a result which has made me feel a bit off balance/dizzy. It’s gotten better over the week but still slightly there. But I keep getting waves of feeling really spaced out and weak and it’s beginning to worry me a bit (I’m very health conscious). I visited the GP and they said my BP was the lower end of normal (105/74), could that explain it? Is it just pregnancy or something else? This will be my 2nd and never remember feeling like this with my 1st.

thanks!

Completely normal but keep an eye on it. Your entire body is re-writing everything it knew and growing a whole new human inside. I felt incredibly run down in my first trimester and most of my second trimester, in all my pregnancies. Low BP can be a factor - are they going to monitor your for that?
Try to rest as much as possible and eat well, lots of fluids! And if you feel worse, phone your maternity triage for assessment. Good luck x

I distinctly remember falling asleep at my work desk in my last pregnancy at around 10 weeks, I felt horrible and exhausted! None of my colleagues knew about my pregnancy at that point, so I had to pretend I was just normally overtired😂

The first trimester is always the hardest. I’ve had two kids, albeit they’re very much pre-teens now. But the fatigue and exhaustion from those first few weeks sticks with me. I also had a bad cold when pregnant with my first and I was quite anxious about it.
Keep an eye on your blood pressure if you can, make sure you take your time going from lying to sitting to standing. Hope you’re feeling better soon
