Pregnancy spotting

Freaking out. Get married today and just been to the loo and wiped. Saw old light brownish blood on the tissue and now I’m panicking. Is this what i think it is? 😞

Hi my love. Firstly I’m so so sorry this is happening and today when you are about to get married.

I know this could mean many things but I had brown spotting for 3/4 days at about 6 weeks. And then again at about 9 weeks with it being heavier at nine. My daughter is now 9 months. They said it could have been a haematoma.

I was also so so worried. Fearing the worst. If there is anything that would put your mind at ease for today - do it. And then perhaps tomorrow or Monday you could try to book an early scan or contact the EPU.

Thank you so so much for your reply that makes me feel a lot calmer. I think it should be ok now I’ve had a google and checked Flo but it’s just scary when you go to the loo at 4 in the morning and you’re not expecting it. Thank you x

I had spotting at 4 weeks, 6 weeks and then a huge bleed (bright red blood) at 15 weeks followed by 3 days of spotting. Went on to have a completely healthy pregnancy and my daughter is sleeping next to me now 😊❤️ I was beside myself with worry but the midwives told me that bleeding during pregnancy is really common and can happen for tons of reasons, for me they never found a cause but everything was fine! I found lots of posts on here by other ladies who experienced the same.

Hope it eases off soon for you and you can just enjoy your wedding/honeymoon 😊 worth calling your EPU if you are concerned, just for your own peace of mind xx
