Hi all I've just posted a couple of replies so I thought I'd better be polite and introduce myself! I'm Sue, 36yo and 38 wks' pregnant with our very first after 11 years of trying and 3 early miscarriages. I want to say to all the ladies TTC: don't despair!!

Hi sderoz, welcome.

Hope you've packed your bag

savoycabbage · 01/07/2008 17:12

Hello. And good luck too. It must be hell being pregnant today in this weather! I used to go to IKEA and take advantage of their air-con.

IdrisTheDragon · 01/07/2008 17:12

Hello

Hope your baby is born very soon

theinsider · 01/07/2008 17:14

M&S and McDonalds have great air-con too.

See, mumsnet is full of good advice and tips

savoycabbage · 01/07/2008 17:16

Yes but IKEA has a slide and a creche........

belgo · 01/07/2008 17:16

oh don't admit to Macdonald's on mumsnet

theinsider · 01/07/2008 17:17

Neither much use if you're 38 weeks with your first. Chips are much better.

sderoz · 01/07/2008 17:18

Think I'd rather be in M&S than McDonalds, being Vegetarian. Not too bad with the heat, I'm virtually sitting on the fan we rather handily bought last week.

To 'theinsider': I've 2 big bags packed and am starting on a 3rd! No idea you needed so much stuff! Mind you, I'm hoping v.much for a homebirth but have packed just in case.....
