i have been pregnant before but it was about 7 year ago, I had my whooping cough and flu vaccine 2 days ago, and yesterday I spent my entire day in bed absolutely wiped out, barely able to open my eyes I couldn’t eat, my arm swelled up and hurt with every little movement, I was throwing up, did anyone else have a reaction like that?? I feel like I was being so dramatic but I’m never ill no one’s caught anything in my house so it’s not a bug 😅😅 I have another 2 to go n I’m not looking forward too it

I had this with the vaccine in my first pregnancy, I felt really poorly for a couple of days. Annoying thing about the vaccine is that whooping cough only comes in a vaccine joined up with diptheria and tetanus, there is no single vaccine available. Your poor immune system is making anti bodies for 3 things at once. I just had my whooping cough vaccine a week ago for my second pregnancy and actually this time I didn't feel as bad, but I still felt achy like I had a mild flu. Paracetamol helped x

Gosh I’m so sorry. I’m 22+1. I had the flu and whooping cough a couple of weeks ago and I could hardly move I was SO exhausted the next day. Spent the day flat. The next day my energy was a bit better - still not back to normal - but by about 2.5 days after I felt better. For me it was sore arm and total exhaustion. I’m so sorry to hear yours was so bad

What are the other two jabs you have? I think I only have RSV to go around 28 weeks xx

I have Anti D because of my blood type so I’ll have that one at the same time as the RSV, honestly I just don’t think I’ve ever had such a bad reaction to a vaccine before 🤣 I thought something was wrong but I feel more human today xx
