Measurements at 20 week scan worrying

I had my "20 week" scan today at 20+4 and have left feeling a little worried.

Baby has all the right things in all the right places organs wise but the measurements are not proportionate at all.

Femur - 5th centile
Estimated weight - 8th centile
BPD (head width) - 10th centile
OFD (head length) - 71st centile
Head circumference - 29th centile
Abdominal circumference - 18th centile

I'm worrying mainly about the femur and the head measurements, baby was head down so could that affect the head measurements?

Me and DH are tall - 5ft10 and 6ft2

Sonographer said that there were small measurements but all were "within normal range" and hasn't said I need to return...

They're all absolutely fine. X

If the sonographer was worried at all about the percentiles you’d have been referred immediately to a consultant. Babies don’t grow uniformly, there’s no reason to believe they won’t even out xx

My baby was average of 15th centile for most measurements (or there about) and on the 96th percentile for head… she was positioned upright and head head was squished (didn’t know this at the time!), you couldn’t tell when she was born at all and sorted itself out over time, but could simply be something like that.
if you’re worried though I would speak to your midwife .

I wouldn't worry scans are not very accurate. They give them a guide, what you could do is give it a few weeks and book a private scan and they can also measure yo put your mind at rest x

My daughter was worried sick by the things they told her during scans and the extra scans they said were necessary. Very large head (97th centile), big baby, unusually hight amount of water. Baby was perfect, 7lbs, a petite little soul and a head that looks perfectly in proportion. We marvelled that with all the technology, the experts can still get it so wrong.

My babies measurements were frequently tiny and sometimes below the percentile bottom. It's really difficult to measure a wiggly baby in a tummy and changes of tiny amounts have a big impact on percentile.
If you're concerned speak to your midwife but I wouldn't worry about lower but not really low scores. Incidentally my baby went all over the percentile born at 6th and a few years later 75th.

Thanks everyone for the reassurance, I'll also contact my midwife today to ask if she thinks there should be any additional growth checks. Hopefully all is well, it's just hard not to worry isn't it 🥲
