Hi I am 31 weeks pregnant with my second baby and my second time having an anterior placenta. And I am driving myself round the bend with baby movements, I am in triage basically every week sometimes twice a week with not feeling her kick but as soon as I am hooked up to the machine she’s moving and her heart rate is good.

I went there yesterday she was moving around and all sorts I come home and I haven’t felt her since, it’s getting me really down& stressed I don’t know what to do… please can I have some suggestions

All you can do is keeping gong back. Honestly they won’t mind at the hospital even if it’s jus5 reassurance you need. I had an anterior placenta three years ago and the hospital never once made me feel like a nuisance.

Was you at the triage a lot? It’s such a stressful time I just want to enjoy being pregnant but it’s actually making me hate it and wishing time would just hurry up so she’s here😣

Yes I went to triage a lot and paid for two private scans for reassurance. I spent my whole pregnancy worried that there was something wrong.

It’s not enjoyable is it:/ I am starting to really struggle and wondering how I am going to cope for another 8 weeks! I absolutely hate ringing triage and I can’t shift that feeling of ‘oh god it’s that women back again!’

I had this with baby number 2 and the movements were so reduced compared to my first. It is so worrying. For the last few days of pregnancy, I was on the monitor (due to a bleed) and it was the only time I wasn't worried as I could literally see the trace.
