Has anyone used this test and been exactly what mine says the leaflet says if u get all 4 lines u r 6 weeks plus is this correct cause by my period I am 5 weeks and 4 days

Help please

It’s not an exact science and that last line is faint. 3 days doesn’t seem like much variation. What do you need help with?

Cause on the leaflet I got it says if u get all them and mine look the same as the leaflet I am 6plus

But that 6th line is very faint so it’s not a clear 6+. And that’s only 3 days more than what you expected from your period. No test is going to be accurate enough for exact days

Yep, you are pregnant, congrats! The 12 week scan will confirm due date and it’s totally normal for it to move by a few days

No, nobody can tell you either way, no test is that precise. Good luck for the scan, but the due date will still only be confirmed at the 12 week scan

The difference between 5w4 and 6w is like 3 days. That really doesn’t make much difference. Going by that test personally I would say you’re around 6 weeks give or take a few days. But if you google HCG levels in early pregnancy there’s a HUGE variation so really until you’re scanned no one can tell you.

It’s more about the level of HCG triggering different lines than number of weeks per se. Somewhere on that leaflet it states the HCG level for each line. I can’t remember off the top of my head, they’re slightly different from the CB digis. I’d take the T4 result with a slight pinch of salt, as it’s so faint (and seems to give that level of faintness whatever the other lines are doing IME), but T3 is nice and clear so that’s a good sign. It is defo there and though in person it’s hard to see on camera I spoke to a midwife and she said 6 weeks it looks like

Surely they date from your last period. I’d wait for the scan. Why do you need to know to the day?

LMP is not accurate as most women do not have a 28 day cycle and do not ovulate exact day 14. Ovulation date can vary massively in normal menstrual cycles.
Some months I would ovulate CD16 and some CD22 so it is off massively. And without using BBT and OPKS you can not know when Ovulation occured.

I’m not denying that but a very similar line was also there on T4 for me just before I suffered a MC where the HCG level would have been nowhere near the level needed for that line to be real, so I’d be inclined to treat that as a T3 positive rather than a T4. It doesn’t hugely matter either way. If all goes well you’ll get an estimated date at your scans. Good luck!

Being 5w4 or 6w honestly makes absolutely zero difference to anything at all. If you thought you were 12 weeks rather than 5 weeks then that’s different as it can affect timings for tests and scans etc. But 3 days isn’t even worth worrying about.
