Flu jab and RSV experiences

Pregnant ladies how have you found the flu jab reaction?
I have heard people are having quite bad reactions to the vaccine this year and just wanted to check as I am down to get both RSV and Flu vaccine on Monday together.
the whooping cough completely knocked me out for days so would maybe not get them together if that’s the case, or maybe not get the flu jab at all.
thanks!

I had no problem with the flu jab. DP was slightly down for 2 days but he has always had some reaction to flu jabs.

I refused the flue and Covid as these are for me not baby and I stay away from ill people. Only had the RSV and whooping cough and had no issue other that 1 day mild arm pain with the latter

Had them both together a couple of weeks ago. No issues at all. Slightly tired the day I got them and then nothing, no sore arm, no aching, no fevers.

I’ve had flu jab so far. Sore arm and was horizontal the day after. Super, super fatigued. Had it on the Tuesday - was fine for the rest of Tuesday, dead to the world on Wednesday, Thursday tired but not as bad and by Friday was back to normal

Guidance is not to have them together as you may not make as good an immune response than if given separately. They can be though, if there is little alternative or patient is happy to proceed anyway.

I recently had flu and whooping cough together and felt bad for about 5 days. Bad headache and fatigue. Despite the nurse telling me there’d be no side effects cos it isn’t a live virus

You can have them together if you want as a previous poster says, just get them done in different arms.

I had whooping cough, rsv and flu done in one sitting a few days ago. Slightly sore arms, nothing else.

Thanks everyone! I will ask the question about them being given together.
I now have a bad cold so they may want to delay anyway.

I was advised not to have together too so doing mine a week apart. Do some research yourself and decide what’s best for you. I caught flu in my last pregnancy and was very ill in hospital so will be getting it done and dealing with it making me groggy over that any day of the week.

I had zero reaction to the flu jab. Haven’t had RSV yet.

I had RSV and flu together and no side effects at all. Whooping cough made me feel a bit rough for a day or two but was fine.
