Scared to get my hopes up - could I be pregnant?

Hello all,

My OH and I have been trying for a baby baby number 2 for almost 2 years now. We have been under a fertility clinic and taking letrozole. Last month my dose got upped to 7.5mg because I stopped ovulating on 5mg.

They did CD 22 bloods which came back at 82mnol, so I definitely ovulated. I also got a positive LH strip on CD 15.

Tomorrow will be 17 days since getting a positive LH strip. I keep feeling like my period is coming, but still nothing. I promised my self i will wait until Friday (tomorrow) to test, but I am just so scared of my hopes being completely dashed.

Just looking for some encouragement and thoughts really. Do you think this progesterone level of 82nmol from the day 22 bloods, is actually a sign of early pregnancy?

Is your period late?

My periods have never been regular, so it is hard to say. The only pattern I have noticed from previous months on letrozole, is that I would get my period 15 days after a positive LH strip

Honestly do a test. You’ll know either way then and you’ll know not to hope if negative by now. Everything crossed for you though!

You second part of your cycle is always a fixed length for you personally, no matter how long the first bit is so you know when. To expect period of know when ovulated.
