Hi - was wondering if anyone has taken pravastatin during pregnancy and how their experience was?
I have been told that I am at risk of pre term labour due to a previous emergency c-section fully dilated in second stage of labour. Because of this my consultant has put me forward to take part in a trial were you will either receive pravastatin or a placebo. Obviously if this is something that is beneficial to stopping me labouring early then excellent, but I have seen comments about people taking the medication for cholesterol and having bad side effects.
Anyone that could share their own experience would be ideal in helping me make a decision on how to move forward with this option.
