I'm tearing my hair out...been up most of night.

I've done three tests over the last few weeks - all negative. However, think I'm 7 wks now (according to last period dates etc). I did the last test last night - I was sure I could see the faintest of a postive sign but dp couldn't!

If I am pg this is completly unplanned and I'm freaked. Feel sick from nerves (or is it morning sickness?...arghhhh again!)

Went to GP yesterday - he wasn't any help. Just told me to buy another pg test as they don't test anymore.

Any experience greatly received.

I did have a friend who couldn't convince anyone she was pregnant until she had a scan at about 12 weeks because she couldn't make the sticks go positive. She had a healthy baby girl and never found an explanation.

I had 3 negative tests although I KNEW that I was preg. I was likely two months along with these negative tests. My first two pregnancies showed positive immediately, so I'm not certain what happened on the third.

I don't know of anyone else who tested negative when they were preg, so my guess is that you are not. I ended up paying for an ultrasound to be certain. Or you could wait another week and test again??

I hope things work out for you.

When I say anyone I mean anyone medical.

olyoly - yes...both my other pgs tested clearly positve very early so this is weird. Paying for an ultrasound is a good idea. I would just really like to know as we'd have a lot to think about (moving house for one!) also I don't know if I should be taking folic acid and stuff...? It's all on my mind constantly.

Do you mind me asking how much you paid for ultrasound?

Hi McDreamy - I don't know if you remember but I was on here a few weeks ago with the same dilemma and you answered on my thread then.
