Pregnancy in early 40s

Has anyone successfully managed to get pregnant in their early 40s? I have always loved children and was very much “if it happens, it happens” type of person but the last few months my desire to actually be pregnant and have a child is really strong. Some people have said it’s because I am reaching that crossroads in life where it’s now or never because of my age.

Just wondered if anyone else felt the same and if they managed to conceive? and if so do you have any tips. x

You should do a search as this comes up every week. I had my children at 41 and 43. Didn’t do anything special we just had sex a few times a week. I got pregnant the fourth month trying both times.
Several of my friends have had children at 40/41, a cousin at 45 and another friend at 46. Neither thought they could get pregnant so happy surprise. The others were probably intentional but none seemed to struggle to conceive and don’t think they did anything special either. Good luck.
