No bump at 17 weeks pregnant? 3rd pregnancy

I am baffled because my second pregnancy I was showing at 10/11 weeks and a real rounded bump at 15-16 weeks wearing maternity clothes. This time I have no bump what so ever . My stomach is flat when I lie on my back but a tiny and I mean tiny budge at the bottom. I'm guessing I'm just carrying differently this time? No movements yet but I didn't feel any with my previous pregnancies till 20 weeks plus (anterior placenta).
just wondered if anyone has had the same? I know the baby is still pretty tiny at this stage. I am pretty active this time too doing lots of walking, I have already gained about 4kg though.

I am pregnant with my second and weirdly am not as round or big as with my first but like you I have put on weight so there is definitely someone in there! I read with first pregnancies your abs are super strong and take a while to give way, I was very round football shaped and carrying high with my first and my stomach was constantly tight. Now, it's like my stomach is longer and flatter and a bit slacker. They have more room. Everyone told me I would be showing sooner but it was the same or later.

Yes it's strange isn't it! With my second I showed pretty early. I am tall and a long abdomen but always had very round bumps. There was deffo someone in there at 12 week scan lol so I'm sure they are just hiding a little bit.

@Elisabeth3468 maybe they are shy! I am 28 weeks now and around 22-24 you could finally tell I was pregnant. Before that I just looked like I had eaten a big lunch.

I don't really show until well beyond 20 weeks plus, I'm on my 4th now. If you are slim and have good abs it's quite possible to be quite far on before any bump appears. It could be you are just more toned/slimmer to start with this time, or your baby is much smaller, my daughter was 1.5-2 pounds smaller than my son's so quite a bit of size difference.
