Reposted here bc better fit

Hi so I'm having my second baby and it's been exasperating my already pretty bad bed wetting I don't really know what to do here the doctor said it could be permanent and it might start going in the day I am having a mental breakdown over this

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Do you mean incontinence? As in are you wetting the bed?
If this is pregnancy incontinence and is new to you it is highly unlikely to continue after pregnancy.
Do your pelvic floor muscle exercises religiously. Every day several times a day.

Cut out caffeine and green tea and fizzy drinks and citrus based juices as these all
irritate the bladder. Stick to water (with a slice of fruit or cucumber) or herbal teas.

Get pads to wear at night.

Do you have a kegel weights set
You can get them that you just leave in while you go about your day
You can also get digital ones that indicate how much strength you need to use

Where could I get a set?

I can't remember where I got mine, it was ages ago, but if you look online there are lots of sets and articles on the best products

Please don't use internal weights when you are pregnant unless an ob/gyn /pelvic health physio has advised them.
I would start with specialist women's pelvic health physio for advice.

Could that hurt the baby?

@newmommy2006yayno it can't hurt the baby, but I would encourage you to go see a pelvic physio as sometimes doing kegels isn't the answer. While pregnant you've got so much pressure on your pelvic floor. GPs do not have the innate knowledge a physio would with regards to how and what would help. Nor do random internet warriors or doctor google.
