just under 5ft and is getting checked see wether my baby is growing fine

Im 33weeks today and next week im getting checked out by a consultant just to see wether my baby is growing fine and measuring fine, as im only small, and he says they need to check because of my height. Anyone else been through this and what was they told. I know its just a precedure check I just want to know, if others have had to have this done

I had it done with DD as I'm only little. I'm sure it'll be fine. Mine was just an extra scan at the hospital where they marvelled at how small a space my stomach and bladder were squashed into then wondered why I was constantly nibbling and going to the loo

ive not had this but my mom is only 4ft 11 and my sister and i were both 6lb something. She is now 5ft 4in and im 5ft 7in so i shouldnt worry about it!
oh yes and my even tinier aunt in ireland, i think she is about 4ft 9 or 10in had twins who as adults are both about 5ft 4in so its def possible to squeeze babies in no matter your size!

I know everything be fine and you can deliver a baby whatever size your are hehe-just wondering wether any of your babies were early, 1st babies did you have to be induced, have a C sections etc?

yes I have had a growth scan and am having another next week at 34 weeks because I am 4 foot 10. But.. did not have it 8 years ago at all with my first and had a normal delivery with no tears, just because you are small does not always mean the worst will happen.

oh an he was 2 weeks early and the labour lasted 24 hours but was not as bad as I had feared. and he was 7.5 lbs . Try not to get too worried

I'm having this too - but mainly due to the I have a bicornuate unterus which means my baby has even less space to grow. I'm really feeling very squahsed now! i don't think i'll go full term. I'm 31 weeks and got appt at 34 weeks to see what we might do. I'm under 5 Ft and myself was born at 30 weeks and only weighed 1 lb. I've reached my milestone and so far the baby is more than 2 lbs. Am hoping I can last to 36 weeks!

Thanx for all your advice allot of my family are taller than me so i don't even know where me being under 5ft came from hehe. My dads small ish, but not that small tho. My mum is a normal height and she had me 6 days late, 27 years ago, and im her only child
