Minimal symptoms at six weeks after long TTC, is this normal?

Hello,
sorry for the long post!
I think I’m looking for some reassurance.
my partner and I have been TTC for 9 years never been pregnant before, in the last year we have been referred for IVF.

i was a couple of days late for my period this month I left it a few days as I was sure it was going to come because what made this month any different to the last 9 years.
when I was 4 days late I did a test and it came back positive!

I did a clear blue and got 2-3 weeks then the following week I did another and got 3+.

my worry is I’ve had hardly any if any symptoms, the first week I had cramps and sore boobs, tired.

from my dates and apps I should be 6 weeks + 2 days and my only symptoms are sore boobs when I press them, and I’m getting up for a wee once in the night but that’s it.

I’m really worried that I don’t have more symptoms like nausea, morning sickness, vivid dreams.

Has anyone else had a normal pregnancy like this?

thank you in advance.

Congratulations! For my first DC I had loads of early pg symptoms, for my 2nd none at all and I thought something was wrong. Both healthy, successful pregnancies. Hope all goes well for you

That’s really reassuring!
Thank you Mia! 😊

I’d probably book an early private scan tbh, from 7 weeks ish you should be far enough along to see a heartbeat on an abdominal scan and then you’ll know what’s going on!

Maybe you’re one of those lucky people who has a fairly easy ride in the first trimester. Congratulations btw 🎉

Go for a private scan and also re-test to see it still says 3+ weeks. Fingers crossed.

I tested again Saturday just gone and it came back 3+ also been doing cheap tests and they are still coming back quite dark.
I have a scan booked for next Saturday when I will be 8 weeks 🤞

I didn't have any symptoms with my first until around 8 weeks and then it was only sore boobs and tiredness, slept so much. With my second I had debilitating nausea from around 6 weeks, both different and successful pregnancies, congratulations, hope your scan goes well

Thank you! It’s really reassuring to hear other people haven’t had symptoms or little symptoms and still gone on too have a healthy baby!
thank you! 😊

I also had minimal symptoms with my first 2. If I hadn’t missed periods and been actively trying, I probably wouldn’t have known I was pregnant. Enjoy it!

I didn't know I was pregnant until about 8 weeks - I had erratic periods anyway (PCOS) and we'd been TTC for so long I"d stopped assuming I was pregnant if a period was late. My only symptom was very sore boobs which prompted me to test. Morning sickness kicked in about a week later.

I did not feel pregnant at all at that point with DD. Good luck, it’s so lovely it’s worked for you after all that time!

Congratulations! Having no symptoms is really a blessing in disguise because you want them to feel pregnant but then they’re horrible when they come! I had barely any symptoms at all for both of my girls! Good luck with everything x
