Hi All,

I am 10 months post partum and still exclusively breastfeeding but only 3 times a day and once at night. I really want to have our second baby but still haven’t had my period- pre pregnancy my periods weren’t always regular either.

just wondered if anyone had been in a similar situation and managed to conceive or has any tips? Do I make peace that we won’t have our second for a while?

I couldn't conceive my second until I fully stopped breastfeeding. Night weaning and feeding only twice a day was still enough to suppress my period. When my cycle did resume I got pregnant on the first egg I ovulated (I was LH tracking so still hadn't had a period) but miscarried that as my luteal phase was still too short from the prolactin from breastfeeding. Missed a month and then pregnant the next with my now daughter.
