Has anyone had a successful vbac after an emergency C-section?

I had to have a cat 2 emergency C-section with my second child as they were back to back and things weren't moving fast enough

The plan for when we have a third is an elective C-section. Not gonna lie! I was completely traumatised after my C-section but friends and family have reassured me that an elective is almost always less stressful than emergency.

I would secretly love a vbac but terrified that it wouldn't work out. I was induced with both my babies and honestly that is a process I would rather not have again. My first birth was vaginally and there were no issue, although induced the birth was actually very straightforward and everything I could have hoped for.

I'm not pregnant and haven't spoken to any medical professionals I'm just looking some advice and loved experiences

An elective should be less traumatising than your emergency section. The fact you have had a vaginal birth stands you in good stead should you choose a vbac. Wishing you well.

Not me but my SIL. Similar to you, 1st birth vaginal, 2nd emergency C Sec, 3rd she had a VBAC and all went smoothly. Good luck!
