Trying to conceive again after 22 week loss at 35

I’m 35 and lost our baby boy at 22 weeks in march this year. He was our first boy after 3 girls and everything was fine with the pregnancy until the 20 week scan where they found a host of abnormalities. Sadly he passed in utero 2 weeks later which left us utterly devastated. It’s been 6 months and not a day goes by where I don’t think about him. We want to try again as this will be our last baby but even though I fell pregnant very quickly with my previous pregnancies, nothing seems to happening this time.
I know my age plays a part but I’d just like to know if anyone has been in a similar situation and had a successful pregnancy.

I am so sorry for your loss. ❤️ I can’t imagine how heartbreaking it must have been to lose your baby boy, especially after everything seemed to be going well.

Your body and mind have both been through a lot, so please give yourself time.

I really hope your dream of having another baby comes true. Sending you lots of love and strength. ❤️

I'm really sorry for your loss. I lost my daughter at 20 weeks in February and I'm also 35. Waited two cycles and then started trying and it took 4 months to conceive again. However, by the fourth month we were having a ton of sex. I was also taking prenatal vitamins etc. It's heartbreaking after such a big loss every time your period comes, but you'll get there x

I'm so sorry. Could you afford a private appointment with a gynaecologist, just to get any checks and any specific advice? I was told to wait some time after a loss, but obviously an expert can tailor advice for you.

Thank you all for your replies. So sorry for your loss too, its such a horrible time.
I think I'll make an appointment with my GP and hopefully get some answers. Thank you all.
