Been having lower back pain today, constantly.
is this normal at 27 weeks?

I think this is one of those things that can be normal or not and would get it checked out. My first was born very prem and back pain was the first sign of premature labour. Second...less prem..had loads of back pain on and off all of the way through. If it's a new thing ring your MW.

For me it absolutely was, I had pelvic girdle pain which was totally debilitating but didn't harm the baby and resolved quickly after birth.

If it is sudden onset, sharp pain or accompanies other symptoms then always worth flagging to your midwife, they don't mind.

I have had lower back pain aswell and honestly the only thing that helps is laying on my side which I cant do at work or whilst I look after my 3.5 year old.
Its also swollen. I'm only 23 weeks and feel 35!
