Will this be an early miscarriage?

Please could you share your advice/experiences?

Tested positive 10th sept so 12 days ago. Digital said 2-3 weeks and period a week late so all seemed good.

I started having left sided mild pains (ive had previous ectopic) so sent for early scan at EPU last Friday 18th.
Scan showed not ectopic with a cyst on my ovary causing pain. Nearly celebrated until she said I can only see sac and yolk but no pole or baby. Making me just 5 weeks instead of the 6+4 I thought I was.

She scheduled another scan for the following Friday so Im still in limbo for a few more days but today I took another test and I'm not feeling positive about it. My lines are not getting darker at all!

Is this what happened in your experience with early miscarriage.. realistically should I expect bad news at this re scan?

This cycle I had EWCM day before period was due, I thought this was odd and possibly sign of pregnancy but on holiday so only tested a week later.

Midwife said this could explain 2 week late ovulation and thats why my dates are off.
However.. that would mean I got a very early positive on the 10th Sept so clearblue shouldn't have said 2-3 weeks right?

Ive tested for nearly 2 weeks and the line has not progressed at all and it's driving me insane!

Yes all cheap tests but needed to use them up, still should show a slight increase right?

I wouldn't necessarily think so. I've had 2 ectopics myself so know that initial relief when told baby is in the right place and I've also been told I'm 4-5 weeks instead of the 6 that I thought. Dating scan at 12 weeks put me back to what I initially thought. My cheapie tests also didn't look like they were progressing. I wouldn't worry at all at this stage. Thanks for the reply, yes I was so relieved that it wasn't ectopic after being convinced due to the pain that it was 🤦‍♀️ I had methotrexate last time but wasnt sure they would manage it so easily 2nd time. Im sorry youve had to go through that twice!

Its the initial clearblue test thats throwing me off! If it just said 1-2 weeks from the start id have believed incorrect dates as holiday threw me off this month.

I mean I could just go buy another digital but not even sure anymore if id believe it.. still seems off somehow.

2-3 weeks on the 10th September could have meant you were just 4 weeks. So 8 days later at your scan you could well have just turned 5 weeks like the sonographer suggested? I definitely wouldn't lose hope x

Thanks, yeah your right I truly hope im worrying for nothing and so glad I'll find out Friday one way or another.

She gave me a leaflet for pregnancy of unceartain viability as she did say if im very sure on my dates then tbh its not looking good.
My regular 4 week cycle would have jumped to 6 weeks for this to be viable, although not impossible I would be very surprised if I see baby on the scan!

Keeping my fingers crossed here for a miracle!

So I went and got a decent test instead of these cheapies and I got a clear positive. Don't know what to think anymore, I have no symptoms and have been expecting the worst..

That test looks so strong, please don’t worry yourself. I had zero early symptoms with both of my DC, and it is very likely that you had a very early scan and it is now progressing nicely. Congratulations

@OneWildSloth Hi, thank you for your reply. I know your right, its so hard to relax! I had severe sickness with my 2 DC so if this pregnancy doesnt give me that then thats great! I never thought id be wishing symptoms on myself lol but its just playing in the back of my mind i dont have any.
This Friday scan can't come quick enough, I'm keeping my 🤞 xx
