I found out I was pregnant last week and worked out I was around 4.4 wks. I took a clear blue digi test late avo which said 5+ weeks. I then thought I’d use the one that was left yesterday while around 5.1 weeks and it has said 3+ weeks. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this before? I’m just a bit worried as I miscarried two years ago around this time and have had some very light cramping which has gone now.

Different tests have different sensitivity. A dating scan will tell you something different. Refer yourself to your community midwife and congratulations.

it is hard but try not to overthink it! I did 10 tests just to be sure but all it did is ramp up my anxiety

I’m pretty sure 3+ is the top end it’ll give you, there isn’t a 5+ possible as it’s from ovulation not last date of your period. Are you sure you didn’t just misread the 3 as a 5? They’re 1-2, 2-3 or 3+

I was going to say the same as the previous poster. Which brand did you use? The clearblue digital tests only go up as far as 3+. Unless there’s a new brand I’ve never heard of. So it’s likely you mistook the 3 for a 5.
