Hi everyone. First time TTC

I havent been ovulation tracking as it was stressing me out.
We had a chemical pregnancy last time so back for more 🙈
I think from my bodies symptoms I ovulated around the 4th sept-
Today 14th, ive started spotting. Its like watery milky /brown pink. Defo a different colour than my usual, and its never got heavier. My breasts have been sore and the area around my nipples look huge lol.

My friend says I should test positive by now as its 10 dpo, but I wasnt sure that was right ?

How do you stop this from consuming you 🙈 I feel like a women possessed by every little thing

It's very hard OP as it does consume you and like you said you end up overthinking and over analysing absolutely everything!!

But l will say this after having 3 children that when l came to peace with thinking instead of if it happens l tried to think when it happens. So everything falling into place and the timing of everything being just right is when it did actually happen for me.

I hope that makes sense, and l know it's easy to say and hard to do but honesty l believe it works. I still did all the things l wanted to to track cycle as well as in ovulation tests and timing sex around ovulation.

A lot of people do get a positive by 10dpo but obviously not everyone. Although it’s normally the case that if you feel you are getting symptoms then you should be showing positive. If HCG is strong enough to show noticeable symptoms it should be strong enough to show on a 10miu test. However progesterone causes all kinds of symptoms which happen every month whether you are pregnant or not which can make it hard to tell. Really all you can do is wait a few days a a see. I had more symptoms the months I wasn’t pregnant and pretty much zero the months I was.

10dpo is pretty early for a positive. I've always tested on the day my period is due so I don't have to squint at the test 😅

I'm afraid it totally consumed me too but just try to chill in between all the overthinking. So if it's negative totally forget about it until you next ovulate, then once you've ovulated forget about it until you can test. The symptoms can really confuse you, I've been convinced I'm pregnant but tested negative and also thought it would be negative and it's positive!
