Loosing my mind ☹️

I'm losing my mind a bit and wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
Some background: I had an ectopic pregnancy in June 2025, a miscarriage at 12 weeks in December 2025, and another miscarriage at 6 weeks in July 2026. With both of the last two miscarriages, I got a positive pregnancy test on the exact day my "period" started, and with the most recent one I bled heavily the entire time despite the positive test.

After my last miscarriage at the end of July, I got a period starting 20th August, then a positive LH on 04/09/2026. Today I woke up expecting my period (it was due tomorrow according to every app I use), but given my history I decided to test anyway. Sure enough, faintly positive line, after a stark negative yesterday. My apps are also flagging a short luteal phase.

I'm now bleeding again, same as before, and terrified this one won't stick either. Why does this keep happening every time I'm pregnant? I'll call the EPU, but I suspect they won't see me until 6 weeks despite my history, which feels like forever right now.

Has anyone else dealt with this pattern of bleeding alongside a positive test, especially with a short luteal phase? Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who's been through something similar.

Short luteal phase usually relates to progesterone deficiency. If you regularly have a luteal phase of 9 days or less, you definitely should discuss this with your doctor so that you can get progesterone suppositories asap. I would flag this up to your EPU now and ask for progesterone

Yeah i called today, they told me to wait a week then test again.. they will only prescribe progesterone when they confirm location of pregnancy which they cannot do this early ☹️
