Hey ladies.

I am 25 weeks pregnant with my second baby, when did everyone start to feeling regular kicking patterns? I feel her more at night time but sometimes I can feel her a few nights in a row and then nothing for a few days, has anyone else experienced this? It’s so frustrating and makes me anxious

would really like some feedback if possible On

I had the same with my first pregnancy…it really sent my anxiety through the roof! She is now a wonderful 32 year old 🩷I just kept on going for regular checks at ante natal unit.Xx

When you said you would never feel regular movements were you in triage a lot?

It’s so upsetting isn’t it not being able to feel baby move as much. I’ve been twice already in the last 2 weeks and as soon as they put the Doppler on you they find the heart beat straight away 🙈

Oh it's so hard! My first and second both anterior placentas and I ended up in twice a week routinely with my first for CTGs because I could hardly feel him move. My second I could feel more so and she had more of a "pattern" but I was also in for reduced movements a few times towards the end. All I would say is go for a lie down and try and relax (read a book or something and a sugary snack) see if you feel some movements. If not then go and get checked out. I always found when I was busy I'd miss the movements more.

Current anterior placenta here - depends on the exact position of placenta and baby.
I got first movements around 24, just randoms. At 30 weeks it become much more pronounced - as the baby got head down and able to kick above the placenta (mine is slightly lower than typical)

I had a anterior placenta with my first and now second baby, I am 26 weeks and I would say the last week I’ve been feeling her so much more and it’s throughout the day as well. I hardly felt my first daughter! I am just hoping and praying it stays this way as I was in triage a lot too. X

I felt strong kicks at 12Weeks but regulsr around 18 weeks and they were light as I had an anterior with 1st child. With 2nd I have posterior and the difference was night and day!
