Hi everyone

so I am just over 28 weeks and today they measured my bump. She’s plotted it below 3rd centile and has referred me for a growth scan. The only problem is I worry about every single little thing as it is so this has a course sent me into a panic although she told me please don’t. A lot easier said than done, especially for me.

Anyway, I know it’s best to wait for the growth scan, but I am seriously winding myself up. I’m just wondering if anyone else has been through this and everything was fine. My bump was always small with my last pregnancy as well and baby was average, however, I never got any comments about my bump being small from the midwife as I was having growth scans anyway due to low PAP A

I had growth scans with my second, can't remember how far into my pregnancy but it was pretty late. After the second scan, the Dr said baby's growth was nothing to worry about and someone has to be at the bottom of the average range otherwise it wouldn't be a range!

As it turns out, she was a little under 7lbs at 40+1 when she was born and is now in 4-5 clothes because she's so bloody tall at 3.5 years old!

Easier said than done, I know, but please don't worry unless they tell you to worry. There's a good chance it won't be anything concerning ❤️

Try to put it out of your mind until you know. My first baby was big so I expected the same this time. Told at 24 weeks baby looked like they were below 10th centile, went for a growth scan and they're on the 34th centile so absolutely fine. Bump measuring and even the scans can be very inaccurate (I was told by the sonographer she could take the same measurements 3x and get 3 different numbers). As long as baby is growing then everything is probably fine but they have to check :)
