2nd pregnancy - Anyone 4 week vaginal bleeding , healthy pregnancy thereafter?

Hi! It’s my second pregnancy and at 5 weeks! At mid-4 week I had vaginal bleeding. Only first round little like period then progresivelg less. As I didn’t experience any vaginal bleeding in my first pregnancy. I had immediately concluded it as miscarriage and worried overall. Called midwife and they helpfully being cheerful and asked me to stay positive. Bleeding in 1st trimester is common. Call back in 1.5week time.

bodywise I also feel symptoms less. No tender breasts no costipatoln. I feel less hopefully. I am also refuse to test pregnancy test to avoid disappoint myself.

wonder anyone had similar experience with vagina blessing at week 4 and success pregnancy?

I had a big bleed at about 5 weeks in my ivf pregnancy, didnt have a hematoma or anything that would explain and didn't have a miscarriage, he's 3 now. So it was positive outcome for me, but may be worth getting progesterone level checked?

I had bleeding at 8 weeks, bled all day long and had a massive clot come out (sorry tmi!!!), convinced myself I'd miscarried. She is now a happy, healthy 7 year old ❤️ I've got everything crossed for a positive outcome for you. Think positive thoughts and try to relax xxxx

Plenty of people have heavy bleeding and go on to have healthy pregnancies. Personally though if you say had heavy bleeding around 4-5 weeks that was like a period I would do a test just to confirm it’s still positive. But obviously if you do not wish to do this it is up to you.
