I did 7 weeks, had to have an internal scan as couldn't see anything from an ultrasound but they were able to check everything was going well and in the right place. They also checked my anatomy to make sure my ovaries, tubes and uterus was all good too which was reassuring 😊

Over 8 weeks as you shouldn’t need a vaginal scan. Plus I’m sure I read before that a heartbeat at 8 weeks is as good as one at 12 weeks, that you should be okay.

I usually make sure I'm around the 7.5 weeks. So nearer the 8 weeks. There will be a heartbeat.

It depends on the clinic whether they do an internal or abdominal scan, they’re all different. I’d booked for 7 weeks as I’d read that 6w might be too early for a heartbeat and my anxiety was through the roof.
If I get to do it again I’d probably try and aim for around 8w
