My friend is pregnant with her first child and having a baby shower soon. I think they're going to be absolutely inundated with gifts for baby so I really want to make sure she feels special and not overlooked during the last few months of her pregnancy and early days of parenting, as I've heard other new mums say they felt it was all about the baby and not them...
I'm not a parent myself so I'd love it if people could share recommendations for gifts they think will be genuinely useful and appreciated by a new mum. We haven't got a very big budget but I also don't want to get lots of cheap/novelty tat either.
