Negative pregnancy test, using ultra early 6 days before missed period.

I have been trying now for a good few months to fall pregnant and so far have been unsuccessful. Morning of 22nd August I got a smiley face clearing detecting LH surge which I’ve not had before. On 21st August no surge was detected. We have tried everyday of fertile window including the day of the detected surge and the day following. I used a clearblue ultra early 6 days before missed period pregnancy test this morning and I was negative. Does this mean I’m not pregnant? Would it have shown up by now? I don’t have consistent cycles but if your period is due 14 days after ovulation then this means that I’ve used the test on the right day. Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

It means it’s too soon to tell either way. Even if you ovulated bang on time and got pregnant it doesn’t mean the embryo implanted immediately. Give it a few days and try again

I wouldn’t rule yourself out yet. The smiley face on clearblue means ovulation is within the next 48 hours, so you might not have ovulated until 24th or 25th in which case it’s still too early.

Thank you! I panicked as it says it detects 79% of pregnancies. I have had sore breasts which I’ve not noticed before but I’m worrying I’m just overthinking symptoms and overanalysing it. I also had a tiny dot of blood a few days ago but not sure if this was implantation.

Forgot to say I’m 27 years old as well and been told I’m high fertility category? It says 41% chance of conception if tried day before ovulation but everywhere says different things! It’s all so confusing. Thank you everyone for your help
