Do you feel emotional and mental changes in general? How do you cope/what helped you?

I'm ending the sixth month of pregnancy and it's becoming hard. Random emotions, lack of interest in things I cared about.

I have a qualified office job (with very easy commute and good WFH options) which I liked before, but nowadays I'm finding it hard to care and thinking about starting my mat leave as soon as possible.

I planned to get an extra certification before maternity leave, but I'm just not interested in the materials.

I'm finding some of my previous hobbies hard, even when there is no physical limitation involved.

I'm afraid I'm running towards the "maternity identity" just to fill the void. At the same time, I'm afraid I won't be good at the social aspect of being mother and creating connections with other mums to benefit my child.

I don't have any female friends with young children - my friends are childfree women and men (with or without children). My DH and immediate family are great, but I don't want to be 99% emotionally dependent on my DH and DSister.

Not sure what I'm looking for now, maybe just some experience from others which will help me sort my thoughts about this.

(I'm writing this in pregnancy topic, to avoid the overload in AIBU. I'm not in the UK, but elsewhere in EU, so if you want to mention something specific, please just describe the principles and I'll try to find local alternatives. I prefer using MN at this moment though over going locally.)
